In these photographs taken in Europe, I present a narrative of intimacy and detachment within the modern city—much like choosing settings, weather, and characters for a story to unfold. Beneath the surface lingers a sense of faded gold: a past richness that still glows faintly, as people seem to have lost something even as they search for it, possessing much yet quietly experiencing loss.

Europe: Faded Gold, Intimate Distance
